![]() Here's the direct download link:īe sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin again. Next, download and install Origin-the regular version, not the beta. ![]() (This is where your Origin games, if you still have any installed, are located.) Delete the rest. ![]() Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder. Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders. If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next. When it's finished, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. Install Revo, open it, and uninstall Origin.Download Revo Uninstaller from here (again, the free versions are fine). If you find any, click on them and End Task. Scroll through looking for Origin entries. Quit Origin, then right-click on the Task Bar and open the Task Manager. Then use Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine, either regular or portable) to remove all traces of Origin, except for the Origin Games folder. If that doesn't help either, you may need to do a clean uninstall of Origin. You can create a new folder in Program files (x86) or wherever you want, and then tell Origin to install to that folder. If this doesn't help, clear Origin's cache again and then change the download location for Sims 4. When using Origin, run it as an admin: right-click on the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator." While you're there, do the same for Origin Client Service. Scroll through the list to Origin Web Helper Service, double-click, select "Disabled" under Startup type, and click Apply (not Okay) to save the change. For the Windows setting, hit Windows key-R and enter "services.msc" without quotes. Under Application (the first header), scroll down to Start-up options and disable the web helper. If one of those doesnt help, then hopefully someone with more experience in MO2 (which I dont use) can offer a better suggestion. Dont uninstall anything, just install over the old installation. The second is to redownload and reinstall MO2. Turn it all the way off, then back on again. In Origin, hover over your username and select Application Settings. The first one is old school - reboot your computer. Please disable it in both Origin and Windows. There are a number of Origin Web Helper Service errors in your dxdiag. ![]() This what I came across few days ago, for users for SEA region. Now idk if it work for you, but could try this, use VPN to US / CA if things works correctly then this most likely points to a server issue near you being the problem. :/ This tells me that nearest server it connects you to is an issue, having problems, I was reading two days ago someone having connection issue to logging in, and found to be server nearest to them having issue, what the person did was block calling to that server IP, forcing to call to another server that works perfectly for them solving login issue. and then everything should work.Īt least until I shut down Steam and everything goes to hell again. After restarting steam after the cache clear Steam takes a bit longer to update my profile. Then after cache clear I need to log in from scratch (2FA is getting really annoying in this case). Unfortunately when this issue happens for me then both these operations lock the Steam client up, so I need to "fight" with Steam so it shuts down completely on both operations. What helps: set download location to Vietnam (yes, Vietnam, no idea why), then clear cache. But after turning Steam off the issue can come back the next time the client is launched. Once Steam's running and can download, it's fine. Originally posted by Shaamaan:This is popping up lately for a lot of people, myself included.
